The National Service Leadership Track (NSLT) provides a seamless approach to leadership development, resume-building, career exploration, and job opportunities for Cadets who seek employment with federal government, global commercial entities, or non-governmental organizations after graduation.

NSLT Cadets can expect to become agile, adaptive, innovative leaders of character.

Frequently Asked Questions

When do Cadets apply for the NSLT?

Cadets apply for the NSLT their sophomore year. Special exceptions may be made for Cadets who intend to contract but face unforeseeable circumstances and want or need to change from the Commissioning Track to the NSLT Track. In these circumstances, Cadets need to see the Academic Coordinator of the NSLT, Mrs. Mary Enriquez.

Are NSLT Cadets eligible for leadership positions within the Corps of Cadets?

Absolutely! Cadets are strongly encouraged to seek leadership positions.

Do NSLT Cadets participate in all Corps of Cadet activities?

NSLT Cadets are active members of the Corps of Cadets and participate in every duty, assignment, and requirement with the exception of Military Science Lab and semester field training exercises.

What happens if an NSLT Cadet does not register for a MILS course or does not successfully complete a MILS course?

All Cadets must abide by the Corps of Cadets Participation Policy. Any Cadet who does not register for a MILS course or successfully complete a MILS course is subject to dismissal from the Corps of Cadets.

If a Cadet is in the NSLT and then decides he or she wants to contract, what do they do?

The Cadet should make an appointment to see Mrs. Mary Enriquez, the NSLT Academic Coordinator.

Are the NSLT courses open to all �鶹��ý students?

A �鶹��ý student must be a member of the Corps of Cadets in order to take the NSLT courses.

The �鶹��ý Center for Global Engagement's International Internship Program (IIP) helps Cadets gain global experience.
